You know scales, but your solos sound flat and repetitive. You’re stuck in pentatonic boxes and don’t know how to break out. You can play chords, maybe even full songs, but they never sound quite right. You’re nervous playing in front of others, afraid of messing up. You feel like you’re always making mistakes — and they’re holding you back
Good News: That’s Exactly Where Growth Begins.
What You’ll Learn:
Improvisation & Composition. Go beyond memorising licks — learn to create music. Understand how songs are written so you can jam confidently over them. Find the melody in what you hear — and build your playing from that. Use just a few chord shapes and related scales to open up a world of musical possibilities
You’ll come away with:
A deeper understanding of music and how to apply it. The ability to improvise confidently and creatively. Great tone, smooth rhythm, and musical phrasing. Confidence to play in front of others — and enjoy it
As a songwriter, Zac combines his instrumental prowess and experience of working with great songwriters, such as The Proclaimers, with lyrical creativity to craft compelling compositions. His work spans various genres, and he collaborates with other artists from around the world to bring songs to life, both in live settings and studio recordings. His songwriting is characterized by a deep understanding of musical structures and an emphasis on emotional resonance.
Zac Ware is an international touring guitarist, best known for his work with The Proclaimers since 2005. His versatile playing encompasses electric guitar, pedal steel, mandolin, and more, delivering authentic blues, rock, and country sounds. He has also toured and gigged with Laura Cantrell, Beth Rowley, Daniel Wylie (Cosmic Roughriders), The Scruffs and Guthrie Kennard
