About me

Zac is an international touring musician with The Proclaimers since 2005. With 6 studio albums and 6 world tours under his belt , including the USA , Canada, Australia, New Zealand and sold out tours of the UK. Stand out performances are two sold out nights at Edinburgh castle, opening the Glastonbury Pyramid stage and live 8 at Murryfield stadium. Zac has a studio in his garden where he helps songwriters hone their songs and then produce them for release. Often adding guitar, pedal steel and backing vocals as part of the service. He writes his own songs and works in collaboration with others - hear his work on Downtown Project by The New Spirits . As a commercial writer he has co-written adverts and jingles with Giles Lamb and Savalas. Recently playing guitar on the award winning The Brilliant World Of Tom Gates (Skykids) music composed by Giles Lamb. Session credits include : Max Richter, The Scruffs, Daniel Wylie’s Cosmic Roughriders, Tenzin, Frankie Boyle’s Tour of Scotland.
