On the last Thursday of every month I invite my guitar students and anyone else for that matter to join me at The Crown in Bathford. Many of my students and other musicians do t have bands or places they can play. Open stages can be intimidating when you are starting out. You need to build up some confidence, you need to have made mistakes and got through to the end of the song and realise that it is fun even when things go wrong. That’s the purpose of these jams. To have fun and make mistakes. Learn new songs in the moment . Share and shout out chords . Learn a song and teach the others in the jam how to play it.
it’s a lot of fun and the benefits for one’s playing is instantly felt.
So come on down between 7.30 and 10.00. Make some noise .
No Skill Required. Just Heart
